OUR CHURCH FAMILY PRAYER CORNER
Congratulations to Marianne W (12), Caleb D (14), Kristen H (15), & Mary W (18) celebrating birthdays!
We pray for those who deal with illness, and for those who continue to grieve the loss of loved ones at this time. We give thanks to our God for his hand of comfort and healing.
We also ask you to remember those who cannot attend services and to keep them in prayer: Jo B, Maureen B, Aky D, Charles & Stella D, John D, Riek H, Audrey K, Frances L, Jan M, Thea P, Gerdie P, Louise S, Joanne T, Nell V, & Riet V.
In our worship service this morning we praise God for the gift of elders and deacons provided to the church. To be ordained this morning as deacons are Rob D, Carolyn F, and Ralph W. May the Holy Spirit fill them with His Power and Gifts, to enable them to serve and carry out their tasks well.
A special thanks to our retiring council members: Christine D, Doug J, Cynthia K, Kevin K, Jeanette L and Dale S.
Rides to Church for John V: John lives in Brighton and John’s daughter is reaching out to see if our congregation could find anyone willing to help drive John to church services. She hopes for him to attend Ebenezer one time each month. Someone in June would be helpful. She would like to create a schedule for September on. Please contact the office if you can help in June and/or be on the monthly schedule.
From the Committee of Administration: Please be advised that the projected budget for June 30, 2026, is $247,086.99. Received budget funds to June 11, 2026, are $181,755.61. Please keep this matter in your prayers and donate as you are able.
Sunday School is looking for a grade 1 & 2 teacher. Talk to Kurt or Judy.
Are you interested in getting more involved with our mission of reaching up & out? These committees need members: Connections Committee, Prayer Team, Sunday School, Worship Committee. https://www.ebenezercrc.ca/called-to-serve
Wednesday Ladies Coffee Break Needs a Leader! If you are interested in leading (or co-leading) Ladies Coffee Break, which takes place at Ebenezer Church from September till May, Wednesdays from 930 a.m. to 11 a.m., please contact the office.
PFCQW Baby Bottle Drive ends on July 21st! Fill a baby bottle with change, cash, or a cheque, and return it by June 21st. pfcqw.ca/donate or e-transfer to director@pfcqw.ca
Food Bank: The Coordinator has let us know they need crackers, pasta, granola, bars, canned fruit, jam, school snacks, dry soups and noodles (Mr. Noodles/Ramen), and gluten free items. Thank you for the continued support of the Food Bank.
Volunteer List: Sign your name and phone # under the heading in which you feel called, and we will arrange to have you put on this list, if and when an occasion of help is needed. This is a great way we can live out our vision statement of 'reaching up and out' with God's love. Your deacons thank-you!
June 14 Offering: Our offering is for Quinte Regional Christian Schools, which is the amalgamation of these 4 schools: Trenton Christian School, Sonrise Academy, Belleville Christian School, and Quinte Christian High School. Together they create a dynamic, independent group of schools in the Quinte region, seeking to educate and inspire students to engage with the world in the way of Jesus, and to foster wholeness and a vibrant connection to their community. qrcs.ca
