A meal train has begun for Adam G & Tammy W as they settle back into their home after a house fire earlier this year. More details can be found if you contact the church office.

We pray for those who deal with illness, and for those who continue to grieve the loss of loved ones at this time. We give thanks to our God for his hand of comfort and healing.

From the Committee of Administration: Please be advised that the projected budget for September 30, 2026, is $370,630.49. Received budget funds to September 24, 2026, are $304,984.74. Please keep this matter in your prayers and donate as you are able.

Thank you to all donated milk bags. So far this year, 300 mats have been made and given to community partners. Over 3,000 were sent off last year. We are now in our 11th year! Thank you for donating clean, folded (not crumpled) milk bags!

Yearbook Orders: If you would like a printed copy of the 2027 Yearbook, contact the office. Prices are arranged in the Spring, when the Yearbook is delivered.

Food Bank: The Coordinator has let us know there is a need for: stuffing, cranberry sauce,  gravy, peanut butter, pet food (cat especially), pasta sauces, soup (not tomato), canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut free snacks for children, hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo). Thank you for the continued support of the Food Bank and helping folks facing food insecurity. 

Friendship Help: We are looking for a few volunteers to help with Friendship coffee (only 2 or 3 times a season) and we always welcome new volunteers to Friendship.

Our Cadet program is praying for two new volunteer counselors! While all willing adults are welcome, we are on a special mission to find a hero with administrative experience. If you find genuine peace in color-coding schedules, planning events, and keeping track of who brought three left boots to camp, consider this your official sign from above. You’ll get to mentor boys in faith, leadership, and life skills, join a great team, and serve as the organizational mastermind holding the whole operation together.

Please pray about whether the Lord is nudging you to fill one of these two spots. To learn more, track down Christine D, Wendy D, Jessi D, Judy V, or Andy V after the service--or drop a line to the office! You’ll be so glad you did!  (A current police check is required and you will get instructions on how to obtain one!)

September 27 Offering: Today’s second collection is for Ebenezer’s 3rd quarterly budget to stay on track with our budget, and classical/ denominational shares.

October 4 Offering: Our second offering for this day is for Trenton Care and Share Foodbank, whose mission is to serve the people of Quinte West by providing food to individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity, and this number continues to rise daily as costs continues to stay beyond the reach of those less fortunate. trentonfoodbank.ca
