Seniors and Scammers: Have you received phone calls/emails/text messages from people you don't know but claiming you won the lottery, your grandchild is in jail (needs bail out). they need your banking info because your account has been hacked.....the list goes on and on...and it's not just seniors who have been affected or targeted. To help protect our Seniors (and really, EVERYONE) the deacons have viewed a video called “Seniors and Scammers" from Diaconal Ministries, which provides important information you need to equip and protect yourselves from Scammers. Ebenezer's Connections Committee is looking for 2 new members. They implement programs, events, strategies, oversee ministries, develop and maintain connections with community partners in order to encourage congregational involvement and participation in various activities outside of Ebenezer. August 10 Offering: The Pregnancy and Family Care Centre is a locally funded, Christ-Centred, national best practice organization. They are dedicated to affirming the value of every life by equipping those in our local community with resources, education, and support to compassionately serve those facing an unexpected pregnancy.
