Congratulations to Frank Haveman (10), Nate Rinsma (11), Wil Rozendaal (11), Gary Haveman (13), & Alan Brewster (14), celebrating birthdays!

We ask for prayers for Ralph & Winnie Stender's niece, who is currently battling cancer. 

Please pray for Will & Theresa Rozendaal and their family, as her brother Luke is in the advanced stages of lymphoma. We ask that God would give them the comfort and strength needed at this time.

Our continued prayers for Gary & Vickie Barink and we are thankful that Gary has been discharged from the hospital, and is beginning the next stage of his recovery.

Spring Congregational Meeting: All members of Ebenezer are encouraged to join us for our annual Spring Congregational Meeting on Thurs, May 22. The Agenda for the meeting is in mail slots. We will begin our evening at 645 p.m. with a Dessert Social. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. Child care will be available.

Volunteer Lists: The Deacons’ Volunteer Lists are the tables in the foyer for those that are willing to sign up to help with driving, yard work, cleaning, visiting, and meals. Driver’s abstracts are required for driving, and police checks are required for all volunteer positions.

Christian Housing Loyalist College: If you know someone needing housing and attending Loyalist College this fall, we're opening our home’s separate bed and breakfast to four Christian students. May 11 Offering: The second collection is for New Life Women’s Home, which provides a residential recovery program where those who have lost hope can experience God’s transforming love, receive freedom from the chains of addiction and life-controlling problems, faith in the true eternal living God and a future for one’s life. newlifecanada.org

May 18 Offering: Our offering today is Quinte Regional Christian Schools, which is the amalgamation of these 4 schools: Trenton Christian School, Sonrise Academy, Belleville Christian School, and Quinte Christian High School. They joined together to create a dynamic, independent group of schools in the Quinte region, who seek to educate and inspire students to engage with the world in the way of Jesus, and to foster wholeness and a vibrant connection to their community. qrcs.ca

Highlights of the May 1st Council Meeting

·         A church visit took place. Pastor George Holthof and Elder Art Touw attended the May meeting to encourage, discuss and share with Council.

·         Nominations for new officebearers were approved by Council.

·         Council approved Pastor Adam’s request for holidays in July.

·         Council approved names of potential new members for Connections and Personnel.

·         Council agrees to hold its next regular Council meeting on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7 p.m.
