We pray for those who deal with illness, and for those who continue to grieve the loss of loved ones at this time. We give thanks to our God for his hand of comfort and healing.

Food Bank: The Coordinator has let us know there is a need for: soup (not tomato), pasta/pasta sauce, peanut free snacks for children, hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo), peanut butter. Thank you for the continued support of the Food Bank and helping folks facing food insecurity. 

Thank you so much Ebenezer family for your amazing and very generous support of Trent River School. Until the end of the drive on August 30th we are now only needing reuseable water bottles and lunch containers. Again, thank you all for extending your love to children in need in our community. Timothy Leadership Training Coming to Bowmanville: This practical leadership development course is designed to equip current and emerging leaders for effective ministry. Prayer for Schools: As another school year begins, let's spend some time as a church family praying for all of our local students & their families, teachers, support staff, bus drivers, and households who homeschool. Join us at Ebenezer Church at 9:30 am on Tues. Sept. 8 for a short time of prayer & Scripture reading. And if you can't make it in person, we invite you to dedicate some time that morning to pray for everyone going back to school from wherever you are!

August 23 Offering: Mission Montreal is our second collection for this day. A  collaborative effort of Resonate Global Mission, Diaconal Ministries Canada, First CRC Montreal, Classis Eastern Canada, and a partner ministry called Christian Direction.  At its heart, Mission Montreal is about equipping and mobilizing Christians and Christian leaders to engage their culture, focusing on church outreach, young adult faith formation, and ministry to the growing immigration population in Montreal.

August 30 Offering: The second collection is for New Life Women’s Home, which provides a residential recovery program where those who have lost hope can experience God’s transforming love, receive freedom from the chains of addiction and life-controlling problems, faith in the true eternal living God and a future for one’s life.   Newlifecanada.org
