Grocery Purchaser Needed: The Mealbox program is looking for a person to act as their grocery purchaser. Mealbox runs bi-weekly which would require this person to order groceries twice a month to support the program. AND much of the work can be done online. Food Bank Needs: goldfish crackers, school safe snacks, peanut butter, jam, canned meats like flakes of ham or chicken, dry soups, condensed milk/evaporated milk, stove top stuffing, gravy, baby food, formula, diapers size 4, 5, 6, baby wipes, no-sugar added items, sugar-free sweetener, cookies (any store bought cookies), diced tomatoes, medium and large peanut butter, juice boxes and/or juice crystals, infant formula, baby food and cereals, canned corn, canned peas.
Redeemer University Psychology Thesis students Sara Hoogstad and Alia Breukelman are looking for participants for a study titled The Role of Grandparenting in Identity Meaning. They are hoping to interview grandparents who are under 80 and living independently to complete a study on being a grandparent in developing personal identity. February 15 Offering: The Pregnancy and Family Care Centre is a locally funded, Christ-Centred, national best practice organization. They are dedicated to affirming the value of every life by equipping those in our local community with resources, education, and support to compassionately serve those facing an unexpected pregnancy. Highlights of the February 5, 2026 Council Meeting
· Council approved the proposed 2026 Nomination dates which will go in a bulletin in March.
· Updated professing member list approved by Council & to be added to bulletin in March 2026.
· Gary H attended the council meeting, to discuss next steps and availability.
· Council approved Pastor Adam’s holidays that will take place from July 12-19.
· Pastor Adam gave a brief description of what took place at the January 2026 Classis Meeting.
· Proposed Prayer Team Projects & Updated Prayer Team Mandate were approved by Council.
· C of A has let us know a fire drill will take place in 2026.
· Council agrees to hold its next meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7 p.m.
