Wintering: Join us for a time of discussion on Katherine May's Wintering on Sun, Jan 25 at 6 p.m., as we reflect together on the causes, effects, and importance of stillness in our lives. Limited copies are available to borrow from the church; the ebook, audio book, and hard copies are also available at the Quinte West library. If you would like to participate but have trouble locating one, or have any other questions, please connect with Adam.
The Banner Magazine: If you enjoy and look forward to a physical copy of The Banner magazine, Council is asking that you please sign the list or notify the office that you would like to continue receive it. The list will be available at a side of the table, main (west side) entrance for about a month. Then Council will collect the names and have the issues when available set into corresponding mailboxes. Please also share with anyone that there will be limited amounts of extras available for guests or a member to take home but are seeking to not have these publishings discarded as much as possible. Location of extra copies will be in the front foyer. Thank you for your consideration and help with this matter. Feel free to contact a council member for any further questions.
Inter-Classis Safe Church Conference: The Annual Inter-Classis Safe Church Conference is scheduled for March 7, 2026, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Waterloo CRC. January 18 Offering: Thrive equips churches and ministry leaders with the encouragement, connections, and tools they need to flourish. They assist with resources in the areas of faith formation, abuse prevention and response, disability access, racial justice and diversity, pastors and church support, chaplaincy, justice, and worship. crcna.org/worship
January 25 Offering: Crossroads Prison Ministries Canada is a discipleship and advocacy ministry for prisoners and their families. They equip the Canadian church to disciple men and women in prison with the Word of God, free of charge. The in-depth, long-term program helps prisoners grow dramatically in a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ and prepares them for and assists them with successful re-entry upon release. They also advocate for change that will make society more welcoming toward citizens returning to the community from prison. Consider how your gifts can be agents for hope and change. cpministries.org
