In our worship service this morning we praise God for the gift of elders and deacons provided to the church. To be ordained to office this morning as elder: Jason D & Dick W; and as deacon: Anthony D, Tammy S, Andy V, & Anne V. Assured of God’s call, expressed both through His people and final lot selection, may they take up their task with a joyful willingness to serve.
A special thanks to our retiring elders: Calvin K and Jelle P, and to our retiring deacons: Marilyn B, Wayne F, Yvonne M and Rachel V. We thank the Lord for their faithful service, and pray that they may continue to actively serve the Lord within His Church.
From the Committee of Administration: Please be advised that the Budgeted giving for May 31/25 is $186,656.85. Our Current giving received is $153,102.75, which leaves a Deficit of $33,554.10. Please keep this matter in your prayers and donate as you are able.
Quinte West for Refugees Needs Your Help: We have waited for 4 years for Peter and Nabil to have their application processed and now it seems the waiting is done and our prayers are being answered. This family will soon be reunited. The budget we had 4 years ago is no longer adequate to meet the increased costs of rent and food and we need to raise an additional $10,000. Contact Doug J or Elsie K to make a contribution or visit the gofundme page on the Quinte West for Refugees facebook page. Please keep this family in your prayers as they travel and prepare for this transition.
