Final Selection by Lot of New Officebearers: Following last week's election by affirmation, the final selection of 4 deacons will be drawn by lot this morning. Installation is scheduled for Sunday, June 1st, in the morning service.

Quinte West for Refugees Needs Your Help: As a branch of the local churches we have reached out to refugees from war torn Africa and successfully sponsored them to settle in Canada. We have waited for 4 years for Peter and Nabil to have their application processed and now it seems the waiting is done  and our prayers are being answered. This family will soon be reunited.  The budget we had 4 years ago and the money set aside to cover the sponsorship for one year,  is no longer adequate to meet the increased costs of rent and food. We need to raise an additional $10,000. Can you help? Contact Doug J or Elsie K

Summer Volunteers: We are looking for 5 to 10 adult and youth volunteers to take one to two Sundays this summer to supervise the Sunday School children during the church service. May 25 Offering: The second collection is for Ebenezer Meal Box program, which is a bi-weekly outreach ministry that prepares meal boxes to be made available for pick up or delivery in Trenton for those experiencing food insecurity. familydinnermealbox@gmail.com

June 1 Offering: Our second offering for this day is for Trenton Care and Share Foodbank, whose mission is to serve the people of Quinte West by providing food to individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity, and this number continues to rise daily as costs continues to stay beyond the reach of those less fortunate. trentonfoodbank.ca
